AJAY WHAT?

Ajay Solutions - we are an IT & web consultancy that caters to the SME sector in the south of England - covering the Hampshire area. If it takes your fancy, you can read a bit more on our what we do pages.

Our primary aim is to ensure our clients are happy. If you're happy, we're happy, but to achieve this we want to provide and support reliable, effective, and professional IT and web solutions. What are they? Well, they start with us fully understanding your business requirements. There's no point in having an IT infrastructure for the sake of it - that would be a waste of money. This applies whether you need a new office network and file server, or you need us to provide ongoing support for existing hardware, or even for a shiny new website. Understanding your business is crucial to us.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a hard working team of skilled IT professionals. We bring years of experience from backgrounds in web development and design, networking and security as well as projects and delivery, but we love what we do. You might hear us say that a lot, but it's true - and whether we're digging around under desks to install hardware, or creating you a beautiful online presence - we hope our passion for our work is evident!

CHARITY WORK

We believe it's important to give something - a helping hand, whenever we can. Our clients include charitable organisations, and we're always happy to consider requests from registered charities and not-for-profit organisations. We offer our services to charities pro-bono and at reduced rates, and also provide reduced web hosting costs for websites.

WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT?

As a responsible company as well as responsible people we must take the environment seriously. We're not silly. We know that many of the components we supply will be manufactured in Asia at the lowest cost. There's nothing we can do about that. But we can ensure that we source and supply environmentally concious parts to our clients. This is where RoHS comes in. Parts complying with RoHS will not contain heavy metals or nasty chemicals which are damaging to health and the planet.

Looking closer to home, our corporate responsibility also includes our own use of materials. While trying to run a "paperless office" isn't quite possible, we do try to use "less paper". In light of this, we send client invoices and correspondance by email where applicable, saving paper, envelopes, stamps and money. We hope this is ok, but we understand that there's sometimes a preference for something in the mail. Just let us know if that's what you'd prefer.

In addition, we have a legal responsibility to comply with WEEE (we didn't make that name up!). This means correctly disposing of any electrical and electronic equipment we supply to clients. But we take this a step further... Ajay Solutions will also remove and correctly dispose of your old equipment, even if we didn't supply it.
